Franz Albert Nürnberger Jr. ( 1854 – 1931 ) took over the management of the family workshop after his father’s Franz Albert Nürnberger Sr. death in 1894 and led it to its outstanding position in its field. His son Carl Albert Nürnberger made the Nürnberger workshop of the 1920´s into one of the top addresses in the world for bow making. (Grünke et.al.: German Bow Makers 1783 -1945)
